Why did we choose the name Wax Seal Productions?
|
The use of wax seals has a long history of protecting important documents and the content within them. This practice has fallen out of common use, but it still represents care, patience, and diligence. The act of creating a wax seal is one that takes time and precision, from the first step of carefully folding or enclosing the document, to lighting the candle, choosing the correct colour and cutting the right amount of wax, setting it to melt slowly over the open flame, and choosing the embellishments. One must then carefully pour the wax onto the desired location, set the sealing stamp within, and pause for it to cool enough to remove the stamp gently. Each step takes time and, if done correctly, delivers a beautiful finished product.
